Sorry I’ve been away for so long!

Hi everybody! I had a very busy summer, and wasn’t able to spend time providing you with material on the site. Let me explain a little what’s been going on.

Back in the spring my wife and I decided to leave Aix-en-Provence for the south-west of France, a region which we both like very much and where my wife has relatives. We found a nice house and during the month of August we were busy packing up all our stuff ready to move on the first of September.

Everything went very well, we are thrilled to live in such a beautiful region, and the kids have settled into their new schools.

One small problem, though, it took us more than a month to get our telephone and internet connected – so that’s why you’ve had nothing from me for quite a while.

On the technical side, some of your comments may have been lost during this time – I’ve been having terrible problems with comment spam, literally hundreds per day. I have installed a plugin that should limit spam, let’s hope it works.

I will be adding lots of new material to the site soon, so keep visiting and let me know what you think by leaving your comments, they will all be read with interest.

Thanks for your loyalty,

Jonathan

  2. Hi, Jonathan, excuse me for sending you my message very late, it is because I didn’t use to come to the “cyber”, ( do this word exist in english?) but I think that now I will come more. I’am a cameroonian, and I done all my school in french, that’s why I want to perform in english, thank you for helping me in that project. I’m so sorry that you spent very bad holidays, next time it will be better I wish. My salutations to your wife for me and be proud of what you’re doing. Thank you Please if I made many mistake, inform me of the right manner to say things

    • Cedric,

You can say ‘cybercafé’ in English. Be careful of shortening words, sometimes although words are contracted in French, they don’t have the same meaning in English.

    • Mokhta,
After the death of a loved one and divorce, moving house is one of the most stressful things that can happen with us. (going on holiday is also high up the list of stressful things, this summer went away with my parents-in-law, one of whom has senile dementia – not an easy summer as you can imagine!)
I hope everything will settle down soon for you.

  5. We happy to have you here again withb us on this Site
