  11. I took an english exam 1 week ago and somehow managed to fail. Well… not exactly failed it, my professor gave me a 12/20, that’s why she probably said that it was “close” to a fail.

    My difficulties mostly comes from “have been” “had been” etc. I really have to work on this type of sentences. I have an oral exam tomorrow and i have no right to fail it as i’d have to stay 6 months more at the university. Wish me good luck !

    Oh by the way, thanks for your great website, i’ll spend some of my time on it before going to the exam, hoping that is going to help me out.

    You write well for a beginner! Take one point of grammar at a time, don’t try to understand them all at once.
