Unit 16: much/many/a lot

e use much with uncountable nouns, in negative sentences and questions

• How much money have you got?

• I don’t have much time

We use many with plural nouns

• Did you see many people?

• I don’t have many CDs

• I’ve been to many countries

A lot of can be used everywhere!

• I have a lot of money

• I don’t have a lot of friends

• Do you have a lot of furniture?

• I’ve got a lot of ideas
