Ago

Paul shows how to use the word ‘ago’.

It can only be used for the past.

Sometimes it’s easier to use ago with the past than to use the present perfect, which is complicated for French speakers. Remember that being understood is the most important part of learning a language.

    Hi Josette,

I haven’t heard from you for a while! I use these videos by Paul a lot because they are very clear, concise, and well-presented. You can visit Paul’s website at http://www.learnamericanenglishonline.com. It’s a very good site, better than mine (but only in English, no explanations in French)!
