Il y a combien de temps en anglais?

Deux. Le present simple et le past simple.

Bon, quand je dis ‘deux’ je veux dire deux temps ‘purs’, c’est à dire, les temps ou le verbe même change. En français, le verbe change pour chaque temps, on appelle ça la conjugaison:

Je fais
Je faisais
Je ferai
Je ferais
(que) Je fasse
je fis etc…

On anglais, alors le verbe ne change (ou se conjugue) que deux fois:

Present:
I do, you do, we do, they do
she/he does

Past:
I did, you did, she/he did, we did, they did…

Et les autres? Il s’agit d’utiliser des verbes auxiliaires ou modaux afin de qualifier le verbe, et en anglais il y en a beaucoup! Mais le verbe change très peu, par rapport au français:

I do (je fais)
I am doing (je fais ou je suis en train de faire)
I did (je fis, ou j’ai fait)
I was doing (je faisais ou j’étais en train de faire)
I have done (je fait depuis.. ou j’ai fait) – consultez des pages ‘présent parfait’
I will do (je ferai)
I would do (je ferais)
(that) I do (que je fasse)
I had done (j’avais fait)
I will have done (j’aurai fait)
I used to do (avant, je faisais)

La grammaire, c’est compliqué. Mais le verbe anglais, c’est très simple: do, does, doing, did, done. Et c’est un verbe irrégulier! Les verbes réguliers sont encore plus simples:
work, works, working, worked.

Mieux vaut donc apprendre beaucoup de verbes à l’infinitif, plutôt que de rester coincé avec la conjugaison!

    Don’t call me master. I think you want help with vocabulary? Use a good online dictionary like wordreference.com, and make mindmaps of themes that you are interested in.

    Prononciation is difficult! Use the Internet to practise listening, and you will find it easier to prononce English words.

    I can understand. Grammar isn’t the most important at the beginning. Being able to understand and being understood are more important. Learn to use verbs in practical sentences, and the conjugation will get easier.

    Juste vous dire de corriger le futur: en Français, c’est “je ferai” et je ferais (avec un S) ne s’utilise qu’au conditionnel.Sinon, merci, votre explication est très simplicatrice et donc utile.
