    Hi,
Thanks for the question. This exercise was meant for those who actually like grammar (I don’t)! It isn’t really necessary to be able to distinguish one ‘tense’ from another – the most important is being able to use them. You probably already know English grammar better than most native speakers, because learners of English have to study it, whereas natives just do it!

  41. profanglais says:

    Salut Marie!
Ne vous inquietez pas, ce n’est pas un temps qu’on utilise souvent. Une traduction mot-à-mot ne suffit pas dans ce cas: ‘Next year, I will have been living here for ten years’ se traduit en français, ‘l’année prochaine, ça fera dix ans que je vis ici’.
Notez qu’un francophone pourrait dire: ‘j’aurai vécu dix ans’ (futur anterieur), mais on préfère le précédent, moins compliqué!

  42. jmich says:

    thanks, i m so hapy

  43. hicham says:

    tahnks

  44. Marie says:

Je ne comprends pas le Future perfect progressive.
Next year, I will have been living here for ten years. (l’anné prochaine , je serais en train de vivre ici pendant 10 ans). Pourriez-vs m’expliquer dans quel cas utilise t-on ce futur? Merci beaucoup d’avance et bravo pour votre site.
