There’s no rule, but I would say ‘that’s completely stupid’ is the most commonly used.

The lesson is very clear, but I wonder if there is a different meaning if you say for example:

that’s completely stupid.
this is completely stupid.
it’s completely stupid.

Hello Jonathan,

Still thanking you for what you’ve done. Before, I had some confusions to use “these” and “those”, but now it’s clear. very simple, because I know how to use the singular form, I mean THIS and THAT. Very funny and crazy.

Since I’ve started to learn with you, I can note the improve when I’m practising.

It’s easier than you think!

We use ‘this’ for something close to us, and ‘that’ for something further away.

This one: celui-ci
that one: celui-là

These and those are the plural forms of this and that
