    Hello Tara Duncan!
Mémorisez plutôt: hier, j’étais malade: I was sick yesterday, le film était fantastique: the film was fantastic, on a été à l’heure pour la réunion: we were on time for the meeting, je n’ai jamais été en Angleterre: I’ve never been to England

    HiPassy,

Sorry, it was just an editing mistake, of course it should be ‘I am bending’ NOT ‘I are bending’.
Note too, that there are probably not too many situations where you would use this verb in the present progressive – use these pages as a reference.

    Hi teacher,
Please I don’t know if is it just to say “I am bending or I are bending” because in the text at the first person of the progressive present of to bend you write “I are bending”
    Thanks
    Passy
