the nine year old suburban Philidelphia girl at the center of what police say was an abduction hoax perpetrated by her mother is back home. Police are still trying to piece together exactly what happened. The mother,Bonny Sweeton, remains jailed in Orlando.

A reporter for a small newspaper was forcibly removed from a press area near AirForce One shortly before president Barack Obama arrived at Los Angleles International Airport. The woman, named Brenda Lee, said she was just trying to give the president a letter.

A popular Miami priest has left the Roman Catholic Church and joined the Episcopal Church after he was photographed covorting on the beach with his girlfriend. The Reverend Alberto Cutie (KOO’-tee-ay), who has been called ‘father Oprah’ because of his relationship advice was removed from his Miami Beach church several weeks ago.

Kavya Shivashankar, a 13-year-old from Kansas rattled off the letters to ‘Laodicea’ to become the nation’s
spelling champion. The budding neuro-surgeon wrote out every word on her palm and always ended with a smile!
